These vintage Time magazines are a wonderful resource of news and contemporary thought - giving insight to the news, politics and current affairs of the world. There are articles on Medicine, Religion, Art, Science, Law, Music, Education, Cinema, Theatre, Show Business and all sorts of other subjects. Famously the Time’s cover pictures are fantastic ‘works of art’ and the adverts are great! Additionally as these issues are the Atlantic Editions, there is a good focus on British and European news, plus coverage of India, Middle East and Africa.
- Art Work: Boris Chaliapin
- Maryknoll’s Mother Mary Columba - Far from worldliness, close to the world - Missionary Work
- Science and Relgion must join if world is to survive H-Bomb by Atomic Energy Commissioner Thomas Murray
- Resignation of Winston Churchill
- Sir Anthony Eden - The Man Who Waited
- People: Billy Graham
- Sport: Herb Score
Condition: The magazine is in very good condition, showing light reading wear and some minor creasing to the covers, and the magazine has been folded in half at some stage. Given that the magazine is over 60 years old, its condition is very good, but not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
I accept returns, and if you’d like any further information, just ask!
