Quite in tact, but I must tell you this may have been involved in a car accident or crash that could potentially have compromised the integrity of this fork.  I found it on an abandoned mercier fixie that had a big dent in the top tube.  So for all intensive purposes DO NOT RIDE.  That being said it is straight, solid, steel*
