BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SILVER SMALL FILIGREE BOX

Late 19th-century solid silver squat circular filigree snuff or pill box.

Possibly Russian or Persian. It has two tiny hallmarks, one on the lip to and on on the base.

Decorated with the finest filigree work. It is a solid box with additional layers of filigree work overlaid on the lid and the base.

The body decorated with lovely weaved pattern.

The silver tested, showing high grade .900 (90%) and above silver purity.

A rare beautiful circa 120 year old antique silver filigree box.
