Product Description
The Takamine EG530SC-BF Dreadnought Butterfly Guitar features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fretboard, a TK40 onboard preamp, and a gorgeous butterfly motif.
The dreadnought body style was created in the 1920's to meet the demand for a louder, more powerful sounding guitar. The dreadnought has been the most popular and widely recognized acoustic guitar shape ever since.
The dreadnought guitar's broad top and deep body create a large resonant chamber that emphasizes bass response and provides a great deal of volume. The TK40 preamp gives you a tunable notch filter and switchable midrange contour.
