Hand carved British Columbia green nephrite jade Maori twist necklace, with a jade accent bead. The jade is premium, gem grade quality, with a beautiful green color. It measures 2.00 inches in length and is superbly detailed, with a smooth and shiny finish. The necklace you see pictured is the one you will receive.
The Twist represents the many paths that life can take and the strength of friendship along these paths. The Twist represents the joining together of two people or groups for Eternity, telling the tale of how a bond of Friendship, Loyalty and Love will last forever. Sometimes the two paths will diverge, but will always come together eventually. This symbol is often exchanged between friends to indicate a long lasting bond.
Unisex design
It is permanently attached to a quality hand braided cotton cord. It is adjustable by sliding the jade beads until the length that you want. It opens all the way to 26 inches in length. Cotton cord wears beautifully in the water, so no worries about getting it wet.
The necklace will be shipped in a beautiful wooden jewelry box, making for a nice presentation. Burned on the inside of the box is a nice explanation of jade and it's mysteries.
