About the slider:
The 31.5" long Konova Slider supports loads up to 39.6 lb and features roller bearings that provide smooth, stable, and quiet operation. The slider can be supported using a single tripod or a pair of tripods/stands thanks to 1/4"-20 threads located on the underside of the track and positioned at the center and at either end. Additionally, there are threaded holes at the sides of the slider that enable you to mount it vertically, for expanded creative possibilities. For ground-level shooting, a pair of height and angle-adjustable legs with rubber ball feet that screw into the sides of the slider are included.
The slider carriage features a 3/8"-16 mounting point for attaching a fluid head or ball head, while also offering two 1/4"-20 threaded holes should you want to mount your camera or an accessory on an articulating arm. The resistance of the carriage can be dialed to taste quickly using a red friction adjustment knob, or with more finesse using a wrench to adjust tension. A metric ruler running the length of the slider makes it easy to perform precise and repeatable camera movements. Should you wish to expand the system in the future, you can choose to add an optional crank handle kit or one of the motion controller options.

About the Ball Head:
The Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head with RC2 Quick Release is constructed of die-cast aluminum, strong enough to support SLR or DSLR cameras with a medium lens, and light medium format cameras. It has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. Cameras are attached to the ball head with the 200PL-14 Plate with 1/4'' male threads. The head to tripod attachment has 3/8'' female threads. Additionally, the Quick Release has a safety system to prevent an accidental detaching from the head.
