For QUICK ACCELERATION gear ratio (quicker off the line, improved mid-range roll on's, more torque), request a 16t front sprocket or 44t rear.

(the -1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the stock size 17t with same chain,

the +2t or +3t rear sprocket change requires a different chain length, which needs altered to go back to stock)

For FREEWAY GEARING FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, use a 18t front sprocket in a 530 conversion kit

(the +1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the stock size 17t anytime with same chain)

Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration. This is the DEFAULT for this listing.

* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)

Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring) X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-Rings and other makers’ modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction. The twisting action of the X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.
1.5 to 2 TImes Longer Wear Resistance (Compared with Normal O-Ring) The X-Ring’s four contact points greatly increase its sealing performance.
