DATE CODE: 0652. NOT FROM 1956. This is a Re-Issue with round “O” Getter, NOT “D” GETTER. I purchased this from a defunct Hi Fi shop in Pennsylvania and later, under close inspection, saw the date code was altered. The first “zero” digit has been scratched from 652.
With Western Electric box, Tested @ 82 (60 being excellent) and 421µF microfarads, NO SHORTS, NO LOOSE PARTS. Just tested by an audiophile engineer on a U.S. Navy TV-7 D/U (recently professionally calibrated). No shorts or anything else to report.
Base tight, glass excellent, pins good. Photos below show actual tube and box that you will be receiving.
