Rare Seaweed / Coral Pattern Blue Transferware Ironstone Sugar Bowl C. 1850s

Rare ironstone blue transferware lidded sugar bowl in a seaweed / coral pattern. With Greek key design around the rim and the edge of the lid. It is marked with an impressed B on the bottom.

Has overall staining to the sugar bowl of the type that may soak out, a large chip to the foot rim, and large and small chips around the entire inside rim of the bowl where the lid sits. The lid has several small patches of staining and the underside of the lid is stained.

Measures 7 1/2" wide from handle to handle x 7 1/8" tall including the lid.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
