Suitable all Hillman Imp Models 1962-1973 fitted with a Lucas 23d4or 25d4 Distributor with Lucas DSB101 or DSB101C points shown Below Needs no other parts .
Works Best with a Standard 12 Volt Coil , Will work with a Ballast coil , in good condition ,of 1.4 Ohms or more
We recommend bypassing the ballast resistor or ballast wire and fitting a 3ohm standard coil
If you are unsure of the location of ballast wire or resistor you can remove the wires from the + terminal of the coil and run a new feed from the ignition key or any other switched live 12volt feed .
