Chichimeca Jalapeno Hybrid The Chichimeca Jalapeno is a large fruited jalapeno pepper that grows fruit about 4 inch. long and around 2 inch wide. The pods are a little milder than regular Jalapeno and measuring in at about 3500 Scoville units rather than the 5000 units registered by thenormal Jalapeno.
