Vintage Gustav Becker Baroque Mahogany 8 Day Westminster Chiming Mantle Clock

This is a stunning Baroque chiming Mantel Clock. It chimes every quarter hour with Westminster chimes and strikes the hour after the chime. The Large stylish mahogany finish case is in good condition and has a substantial stately presences, please see the photographs.

It has a brass German Gustav Becker P18 movement that has been made to a high quality standard. The chimes are tuned to give lovely musical tone and sound wonderful in this large case. The movement is stamped with the Gustav Becker Anchor and P18, along with the serial number 2452389 on the back identifying that was made in 1926.

The clock is in full working order with no broken or missing parts. The clock has been tested and, where necessary, cleaned and oiled. It will be fully checked in our workshop before dispatch. The case is in good condition with a lovely aged patina and some rubbing on the edges, it looks lovely on it's brass ball feet. The silvered metal dial is in very good condition with clear numbers, please see the photographs. The substantial brass bezel and bevelled glass are in good condition, again, please see the photographs. Overall this is a splendid timepiece that can only appreciate with age.

As with all pendulum clocks, this clock will need putting 'on beat' when placed in situ, instructions on how to do this will be supplied with the clock.

The clock is approximately 430mm wide by 300mm high and 170mm deep to fit most mantels.
