Brogie Altered for sale. This auction is NO RESERVE !! This car was built in 1992 by Brogie. To the best of my knowledge I am the 3rd owner. The first owner primarily used it as a show car. The second owner made a couple of licencing passes and stopped. I bought the car in 2009 and am the first to actually race it. I am an ex boat drag racer, so i had a learning curve in the beginning. In 2013 we won the ANRA SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP in NE3. In 2014 we finished 3rd in points but we missed one race due to business obligations. With me in the car 5'10" 220 lbs. and a safe tune up the car will run 8.90 in the 1/4 mile at 152 mph. we slow it down via a mechanical throttle stop under the carburetor to run NE3 which is 9.60 at 140 mph. This car was not built in someone's garage, the car was built by Brogie, the engine was built by Lingenfelter. The chassis and roll cage are 100% chromemoly tubing and NHRA certified to 7.50et, certification is current. The car is beautiful , it is built first class, it does have a couple nicks and scratches from racing but nothing big. The car is very easy to drive, leave on time and just a very light touch on the wheel. Since I have owned the car the engine and transmission have always been freshened every winter. We run a safe tune up and have never broken a part in 6 years. As you see in the pictures the rear lid hinges back to expose the batteries and electronics. The entire body is very easy to remove 2 guys about 5 minutes. When I bought the car the roll cage was too small, I spent $2000.00 and had a new one made, it is all chromemoly, inside width from side to side is 20" and I had it raised 6" so I could get my helmet under it. I have the original cage and it goes with the car. I have a fiberglass nose piece for the car that I have never installed it goes with the car, it is supposed to help MPH. I will include any and all extras parts I have for the car. I will also include all of my tuning data and records as well as the hand held weather station I used for tuning. I will be happy to show you exactly how I used this data to tune this car. This car more often than not was the number one qualifier and it has won it's share of races and I have records to proof it. I was running this car with my son, he decided to move away, that is my reason for selling it. I will miss the car and the racing but at my age I just don't want to do it without my son to help.If you have any questions please ask. Shipping or pick up is buyers responsibility.
