All watches being sold are considered sold in as-is condition.  I am not a watch expert, I simply buy and sell watches as a hobby.  All watches should be maintained and serviced by a professional watchmaker.  Vintage watches are especially susceptible to water damage if not addressed properly by a professional watchmaker (this would include replacement of all gaskets and assuring firm seal of the crystal).  Responsibility for any damage to a watch that occurs after delivery, lies with the buyer of the watch.
