Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. It is rosy when new, and turns the color of an old penny over time. You can clean it with commercial cleaners like Brasso to keep it bright. It can be oxidized to darken it with commercial products like Jax or liver of sulfur. This wire is sold spooled by the vendor and shrink wrapped to retard tarnish.
