We have been selling pouffes since 2008. All our Moroccan pouffes are made from the best quality goats skin (with the exception of the metallic faux leather pouffes) and are made in Marrakech, Morocco. The leather goes through a vegetable tanning process that gives the leather unique characteristics, retaining its natural flaws and markings. No harmful chemicals are used and our artisan maintains an eco-friendly process. Once the long drying process is complete, the cutting of the pouffe pattern follows, where the cuttings are sewn by hand. It can take up to 10 days for our artisans to stitch each pouffe with the silk embroidery thread. Silk embroidery thread is used to bind the pouffe cuttings together. As every single pouffe is entirely handmade no two pouffes are the same. Please note any imperfections are the natural characteristics of the pouffe. Delivery All our orders are dispatched and you will receive a tracking number to track your order online. In any event you will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched along with tracking details. RETURNS & EXCHANGES Returns We strive to offer outstanding customer care and will happily accept returns within 28 days of receipt, provided that the item returned is in its original and unused condition. Simply fill in the returns form (full instructions are contained with the returns form) indicating what you are returning and send it back to us. For non UK residents/customers : please make sure when you return your item to us, your parcel clearly states that it is an unwanted item you are returning and duty has already been paid. This will ensure that your returned goods are not held in UK customs, which could otherwise result in delays in processing your refund. Please Note All our products are photographed in-house by us, we take care to match the images with the products as closely as possible, however due to computer screen resolutions colours may vary slightly. If you would like to discuss the exact shade/tone of a product before purchase please do not hesitate to contact us. Exchanges & Charges We can exchange your order if you would prefer a different colour as long as the item in question is in stock, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our returns policy complies with The Distance Selling Regulations. We will refund delivery charges if there has been an error on our part or if the item received is faulty. Faulty Items Unfortunately faults do occasionally occur, so if you believe an item to be faulty or it is not the item you have ordered we are happy to offer a full refund or exchange. Please notify us in writing within 14 working days of receipt of your item if you believe the item you have received to be faulty. Lost or Damaged in Transit We accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. All our items are sent using a trackable service and goods lost or damaged in transit will be replaced/refunded. Filling your pouffe There are a number of ways to fill your pouffe.
You can use just about anything to fill your pouffe. We recommend polystyrene balls to maintain a lightweight but firm pouffe. Polystyrene balls filling Tiny polystyrene balls are used which are contained within a bean bag liner (child friendly). Once you have filled the polystyrene into the bean bag liner, the filling needs to be manipulated into the leather pouffe to ensure the pouffe is filled correctly. You will need to ensure the stuffing is manipulated so it reaches the edges of the pouffe. If you would like to achieve a firmer pouffe, you will need to ensure there is lots of stuffing. To achieve a soft pouffe effect you will not need as much stuffing. Once you have stuffed your pouffe, use the zip to close the pouffe. Kindly note if the shape is not totally perfect, the shape will settle over time. More filling can be added as and when required. Woo/Cotton/Polyester Wadding The best way to describe the wadding is the filling used to fill quilts and upholstery. Wadding comes in a variety of materials from Wool, Cotton, Polyester, Cotton and Wool blend. All the above stated wadding can be purchased online from any reputable retailer. |
