This is a mini computer and not a router so you will have more power then a wifi pen testing router platform.

With Kali Linux you have its tools and can add more.

There are 4 sub ports so you could have up to 4 wifi dongles for more wifi fun.

The wifi pen testing has its own separate web interface and can add more modules through the web interface with just a click, there are default tools already installed such as AP, Karma, Proxy, etc...

This item is ready to go out of the box, just power up and add network to setup an AP you can connect to through the web interface so you will not need a wired connection.

Has been tested for portable testing with a battery, running multiple tests and modules was able to get 2+ hours with a medium size power pack. The more you run the more power it takes.

This is a raspberry Pi so power is 5v 1A which is a standard USB connection, power pack to charge portable devices.

Can even be used as a pen text drop box.
