This all plastic ukulele is ready for travel, the bathtub, the pool, the beach, home, the campfire, hiking... it is a uke made to withstand the elements!  Concert plastic ukuleles are very rare, and this one can't be beat.  It is well braced so it is going to withstand anything you throw at it.  Being an all plastic ukulele, it can also be brought into the shower, beach, or pool!  I find it to be a great travel ukulele because you do not  have to worry about it getting damaged.  It still has a big sound!  The top is solid with a screen printed F-hole and the side sound port directs the sound up to your ear.  The slotted headstock is a great looking feature.  And it comes with a gigbag.  It also make a great ukulele for a kid or beginner because it is sturdy and stable, and still plays well!

That being said, it is VERY important these ukuleles be set up!  They come stock with high action at the nut and saddle  But when I am done working my magic it will play easy and smooth for you.  You will have no difficulty barring chords and moving up the neck.  They come stocked with off-brand Low G strings.  Feel free to upgrade these for a fee.  But I do not upgrade them automatically because my profit margin is not huge on these and the stock strings still have a decent sound and tone.  

(SPECIAL IMPORTANT NOTE:  This is a plastic import ukulele and therefore has a few imperfections such glue spots and the neck has a lot of relief, which is nice on a plastic ukulele.  It plays well and is buzz free, but is not “perfect”.  There may be little nics and scratches on the uke, but nothing major.  Just wanted to note that I do not B-stock this instruments for slight scratches or glue spots, they all have small marks.  So if you are expecting perfection in asthetics, unfortunately this is not the uke for you.  But these are meant to be work-horses that go everywhere with you, so you will be adding your own soon enough.  Since these are meant to be water and travel ukes, these little blemishes would not necessitate a B-stock label.  Just be aware before buying and do not purchase if this will bother you.  The uke in the picture is the one you will receive!)

Mass produced ukuleles come with "factory settings".  There is no time to set the uke up for the individual buyer. Often they err on the side of high-action (strings are high over the fretboard) .  I take personal time with each uke I sell.  All ukes get a nut and saddle adjustment.  They are also checked for fret buzzes, intonation problems, and other issues that can be resolved in the set-up process.  The action is lowered to an ideal and comfortable level.  You can feel the difference between a non-set up uke and a uke that has been through the "Mim Set Up Process".  I have repeat customers world-wide because I have worked hard to have the reputation that a uke from Mim is going to be "right".   The set-up process can cost a lot through your local luthier and often they do not know the specifics that go into a good uke set-up.  I only sell ukueles, so my set-ups are custom tailored to your uke, the brand of uke you purchase, and the uke size.  If you need a uke set-up Low G, or Lefty, let me know.  I cando that for you... no charge!  I set up the uke for YOU the buyer and ukulele player!
