Offered for sale is this Gustave Kaitz original signed painting with gouache on board medium.  Gustave Kaitz is a well known art deco artist who lived from 1913 to 1992.  He is a well listed artist with a unique art deco expression to his work.  He was known for using a painting technique called gouache  in which he did often in blue on board or paper with a nude female figure with long flowing hair. It appears the female has a pen and pencil technique as well.   

This painting is unframed and was obtained from an upstate NY estate of fine art and similar period pieces. Work is in good condition with very minor defects due to normal wear and tear commensurate with age. See photos. A slight bending is present in the board however does not take away from the work itself.  Dimensions include 20 1/4" in width X 15 1/4" in height.
