Here is a superb antique sword. Simple but elegant cross piece/hand guard.
Leather covered grips with twisted wire. Pommel has traces of engraved decoration. and wear to tip. Double edged blade. Perfectly balanced. All over pitting and some loss to leather grip. I dont mind this, as you know this is a genuine old piece that has not been touched for a long time! All sound, the twisted wire could be easily put back in place.
