This is a well preserved 1939 Parker DOUBLE JEWEL Vacumatic fountain pen, 5” in length with no chips or cracks, no digs or bites and no personalizations. The silver and black celluloid is striking with even color, the nickel trim, Arrow Clip, tassies – all is nice. There is a bit of edge wear to the bands, The 14k Gold Parker ARROW nib is a Fine with lots of iridium – the handsome vintage nib carries 8 feathers to the shaft. The imprint is strong and crisp, followed by the Date Code 9. This is a solid, original and untouched double jewel Pre-War Vacumatic with smooth working pump filler.
