Covers are 3 3/16" wide and fit some Padded and thicker Non Padded Steering Wheels up to 17" outside diameter. To test it we put one on a 17" OD VW 411 Steering Wheel as pictured. (The cover has to be warm to stretch). We did not wrap the string around because this wheel is a bit too thin. Please measure the thickness of your wheel and remember the covers are 3 3/16" wide. In the 60's, 70's and 80's you could see these on many many cars. Cool in summer and warm in winter provides the driver with a comfortable firm grip. MADE IN GERMANY NEW Old Stock.
