Portable and lightweight, the Fluke 116 is great for testing both at the bench and also in complex areas such as up ladders. It's small enough to be used with just one hand, freeing up the user's other hand in order to hold test leads or other accessories.
The 116 is capable of measuring DC millivolts, DC volts, AC millivolts, AC volts (both AC mV and V are true RMS), continuity, ohms, diode, capacitance, LoZ capacitance and it can also be used in HVAC applications to carry out temperature measurements via the use of a Type K thermocouple. The built-in LoZ function makes sure that the 116 prevents false readings that can come about as a result of ghost voltages, making sure testing accuracy is maintained at all times.
In order to test flame sensors the 116 also comes with a microamp feature, and it also comes with a suite of additional measurement adjustment tools such as MIN/MAX/AVG readings with elapsed time indication (ideal for recording fluctuations in a signal).
This digital multimeter is CAT III 600V safety rated.
