The Saturnworks true bypass looper blender takes all the capabilities of a regular true bypass looper and adds active circuitry to blend whatever is in the true bypass loop with the incoming dry signal. 

A true bypass loop pedal allows you to isolate and bypass effects pedals that are not true bypass and negatively impact your signal, in order to preserve your guitar's original tone. You can also use the looper pedal to switch groups of pedals on and off at the same time, rather than individually. You can even put all your pedals in the loop if you want to bypass all of them and send your guitar's pure signal directly to the amp.

The looper/blender adds a control knob that dials the blend level between your dry signal and whatever is in the loop. This pedal can also be set up specifically for bass, allowing you to use guitar pedals (the blender is a popular way to use a bass with guitar fuzz pedals), but still keeping the bottom end.
