Argus Brick or Argus C3 lens onto M43 cmaera mounts mount
After the first few lenses, thanks to the friendly customers, there are few things to be noted.
Argus Flnage distance is not uniform across lenses:
Unlike M42 lenses, the flange is varying across the lenses. Both my sandmars are off mark by 1.2mm
To avoid this problem, this adapter has an error of -0.2mm.
I am working on a back focus adapter (shown in the last photo), that will introduce an error of -1.2mm with adjustable helical. That adapter will also take the Argus lens closer and will have focus wheels.
I am hoping to release that in 2-3 weeks.
Tele-Sandar 100mm : Please be careful in using the 100mm lens as tightening the lens into the adapter might get it stuck in the adapter. The tele sandar may not have been designed for full plug-in. The focus wheel adapter should take care of that problem. If you are planning to use that lens, I suggest, please wait for the new model.
Some of them have a ourter ring containing 49mm threads. Since this lens flares a lot, if you could obtain a 49mm rubber hood and cut to size, it might help. (For 50mm cintar)
Infinity focus: I could achieve infinity focus on one and second one went slightly past infinity. There is an error of -0.2mm in the adapter.
Due to small quantity
custom makes, there could be some cosmetic issues but that will not
affect functionality.
