• Please find an excellent condition rare used/refurbished by seller 1960 Holton Stratodyne model #49 professional  model Bb trumpet with a good condition case. 
• The serial number is 330539 yielding manufacturer date to 1960. The bore size measured on the 2nd valve slide measures .458" (medium large bore). The bell diameter measures 5.15".  Collectors please do your research as you should for this gorgeous horn. You will find that most of the pro trumpet player blogs compare this vintage model instrument most favorably. Please "Google" the "Holton Loyalist" website to help in your quest for this model. This model was the top of the line Bb trumpet during its manufacture era. The model was one of the last generation of Holton trumpets before the Leblanc folks purchased the company in the mid 1960's. 
• The horn features a 1st valve trigger that works flawlessly. Unique to this model instrument are the top/bottom caps and finger buttons that are 10 sided(decahedral). The mouthpiece receiver is also unique with 8 sides(octagonal). The instrument has been chem cleaned and thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The bell end is very ornately engraved and still gorgeous. The horn was ultrasonically cleaned as well. All new valve stem corks and felts. Excellent port alignment. The 1st valve trigger and 3rd valve finger ring adjustment move freely without drag. Excellent valve speed and compression. 
• There are no missing or non original parts on this horn other than the four new 1st and 3rd slide bumper "O"rings. The old lacquer was removed, the few dings it had were gently removed. After the thorough cleaning the horn was then re-lacquered with a baked-on epoxy lacquer. The finish is not perfect as there are a few last step buffing swirls that remained prior to the lacquer application, please see pictures. There are no keys for the case. The case has been cleaned inside and out and sanitized/disinfected with a hospital grade solution. One of the case latches does not spring open. No odors to worry about. 
• The horn will be thoroughly hand polished again the day before shipping. It will be clean, shiny, sanitized, valves oiled, slides lubricated and ready to play right out of the box.
•  I will also include an "Ultra Pure Deluxe Trumpet Care Kit" and a 4oz bottle of liquid Selmer Lacquer Polish with the shipped horn.
