Being offered for your consideration is this lovey antique silver plate Tea Pot by Shaw & Fisher. One of the finest examples of a silver plate or Britannia teapot we have offered in a while. This teapot is beautifully decorated in high Victorian with an 8 panel designed body and spout. Each body panel is decorated with etched flowers and vines accented with an elaborate scrolled footed base and a dimessional floral top. The decorated handle is bone insulated and the tip of the spout is decorated as well. This is an early piece dating back to around the 1860's era. It is in remarkable condition with bright and shiny silver throughout with just a touch of silver loss and a few tiny shallow dents (see images). It measures 7 1/4" tall, 9 3/4" long and 6" deep. It has an applied plaque for the marking (see images). A truly sensational Victorian Teapot to enhance any collection or decor!
