C19th STAFFORDSHIRE CRESTED GREBE EGG TUREEN 

A rare designed Staffordshire egg tureen of a Greater Crested Grebe in its nest with seven chicks. Wonderful muted pink/orange and white/grey colouration.

A Victorian piece believed to date circa 1850.

It measures approximately 165mm tall (weighing 750g) and is generally in very good condition considering its age. There is a chip to Grebe’s neck, with expected chips, craze lines and surface cracking to be found throughout. Please refer to photos.

Returns Conditions

A 14-day 'cooling off' returns window is in place for buyer to cancel their purchase. If return is desired, a refund of the sale price (excluding postage cost) will be issued. Buyer must pay for return postage.

If goods are faulty, buyer will be issued a full refund. PM Antiques & Collectables will also cover the postage cost of returning the goods. 

Where goods are damaged in transit (and refund is requested), buyer is required to cooperate with PM Antiques & Collectables in the carrier compensation claims process whereby photographic evidence of the damages/loss is necessary. Buyer must retain the damaged goods (with all original packaging) and may be required to post them to carrier's inspection branch (a free-post UK address) upon request. A refund will be issued once sufficient material has been provided to carrier.
