You are looking at a vintage 26" crosscut hand saw made in the USA by Henry Disston & Sons of Philadelphia, Pa. This saw is only marked on the medallion as the etch is completely gone. The blade on this saw sights straight and features a skewed back, a broad tip, and 5 1/2 points per inch. There are a couple of broken teeth on this saw, but there is room to re-sharpen. The blade does have some light pitting on both sides, mostly at he top of the blade, but nothing that goes through. The handle is apple wood and has one split at the bottom saw nut on the face only. The rest of the handle is in good shape but does show usage. It is held by five brass saw nuts, one of which holds the "H. Disston & Sons - PHILADA" medallion. With a re-sharpening this saw would make a good user.
