Die Instrumente dieser Music Man PDN Serie sind in einem besonderen, transparenten Vintage Tobacco Burst Finish lackiert, durch das die Maserung des Korpusholzes (Erle) optisch betont wird. Der schön gemaserte Vogelaugenahornhals wurde mit einem gefärbten Öl- und Wachs-Finish behandelt. Dadurch wird der Hals dunkler und die Maserung hervorgehoben. Es waren auch Modelle mit Ahorn-Griffbrett realisierbar, die sonst nur mit Palisander-Griffbrett erhältlich sind, wie z.B. dieser Bongo 5 Bass.

The instruments from this Music Man PDN Limited Edition feature the special, distinctive transparent Vintage Tobacco Burst finish, highlighting the wood structure of the alder body. The figured birdseye maple neck is treated with tinted oil & gunstock wax: this makes the neck look darker and more prominently figured. Maple fretboards were exclusively available even on models previously available only with the rosewood fingerboard, such as this Bongo 5 bass.

Basierend auf ausgewählten Modellen aus der Serienproduktion, wurden die Instrumente dieser Music Man PDN Serie sind in einem besonderen, transparenten Vintage Tobacco Burst Finish lackiert, durch das die Maserung des Korpusholzes (Erle) optisch betont wird.
