WW2 Japanese Army/Navy rising sun flag. Made of cotton with artificial leather enforced corners. The color is still bright with 16 sun stripes. There are many patches of stains due to battle use and storage. There is one period patch repair with cotton patch measuring 3 1/2'' x 2 3/4''. But it is not distracting when the front side is displayed. In great condition after so many years and the battle use. Measures 27'' long and 19.5'' wide.
