I travel a lot for work and when the zipper on my cheap laptop bag broke while racing to catch my flight I had had enough. I went in search for a briefcase I could use every day. I wanted functionality and style. My searches led me to some very nice briefcases; however, I was not willing to spend $650 no matter how much pig skin they put in it. In addition to that, I just didn't see the briefcase others are selling as functional. I wanted a place to put my pens, water bottle and car keys. I want a pocket I could close on the outside to put my wallet, passport and other important documentation without having to open the briefcase up. I wanted more pockets inside to hold my sunglasses, business cards and anything else I needed. I wanted a briefcase that could fit my 17" laptop, leather binder, charge pad and everything else I need for the day.

So what am I trying to get at? No other bag I've seen has the same functionality as this briefcase. Not only that, I'm selling this bag at 1/3 of what the name brands are selling for. All that being said if you want to pay $600 for a "name" I urge you to buy three of my bags and stamp whatever name you want on it. One last thing. These briefcases are right here in the USA. You could buy from someone else and you maybe you'll receive a nice bag, but three weeks later you will probably receive a nice customs bill from Uncle Sam. That's just one of the unseen cost you won't get with Wood Rough Leather.

Character:

If you've never bought full grain leather before there are some things you should know about leather. Leather tells a story of the animal. So every briefcase is different. Not all leather tans exactly the same way. So the briefcase you see in the picture may be a little lighter or darker than the one you get. It also means you’ll see "character" in the leather and other imperfections. The leather will grow with you and pick up memories. The more you use it the better it’ll look.
