Up for sale a 1994 Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue tube amplifier in excellent condition and in perfect working order. While Fender has made subsequent reissues of the Deluxe Reverb with blonde tolex, this amp was from the very first run! Sold as a set to dealers with matching blonde Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars, this early blonde '65 Deluxe was from a very limited run of 500 total amps. Very well kept and complete with an upgraded Jensen C12N speaker, this Deluxe looks great and truly captures the tonal qualities of the original Blackface design.

The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue was designed for rock, country or blues players that want a moderately powered amp they can crank up on the gig. The full, snappy guitar tones heard on many famous recordings from Memphis to Abbey Road were made using the Deluxe amp. The tube driven reverb is very lush with great decay, and the tremolo circuit has a strong pulse and wide range of speeds from swampy and slow to machine gun fast!

This particular iteration of the blonde '65 Deluxe reverb sports an upgraded Jensen C12N speaker which has excellent wattage handling, full lows, and detailed, sparkling top end. This speaker also has a more balanced EQ curve and a more traditional "Blackface" voicing than the alnico Jensen P12Q speaker offered in subsequent blonde Deluxe reissues. The 6V6 power tubes have plenty of life left, are properly biased, and are quite efficient, allowing the player to get the most out of the Deluxe's 22 watts for everything from spanky cleans to smooth overdrive at high volumes.

Cosmetically, this amp is extremely clean with barely any wear on the rough blonde tolex. The wheat grillcloth has no snags or tears, and the Blackface faceplate and black skirted "witch hat" knobs are all intact with clean silver inserts. This amp would present well in a studio, and is one of the most collectable and sought after Deluxe Reverb reissues!
