Manufactured
in the late seventies and early eighties, this high quality Sony PS- X7 fully
automatic, Quartz lock direct drive turntable is in good condition.
This
two-speed (33 & 45 rpm) fully automatic low profile table with repeat
function has attached RCA type output cables. The static balanced “S” shaped tubular
tonearm is made of carbon fiber. Supplied cartridge is a Stanton 681 EEE
Calibration Standard mounted on the correct Sony die cast headshell. It comes
complete with "45" adapter and a copy of the owners manual.
Operationally
it works perfectly, it has been run on my bench for a couple of hours straight
and there is no wavering of platter speed. Table cosmetics are very good,
however the dustcover is not so great, no cracks, however plenty of scuffs,
scratches and blemishes. You won't be disappointed with this, great
sounding perfect operating piece of Sony professional quality equipment.
This
item will be carefully packed to make it to your destination. The dustcover and
platter will be removed, as will several other pieces (counter weight,
cartridge holder, etc.) and packed separately in the same box. There will be
assembly and setup when you receive it.
