For the past year, I have been buying compact retail First Aid Kits in the effort to find the right kit for personal Every Day Carry and to also include in small Survival Kits. I was not able to find one that met my quality standards: so I decided to build my own. I have developed this extremely versatile, lightweight, and comprehensive kit from HIGH QUALITY items. Every item in the kit is of current production, and with a minimum of a ONE year shelf life ( Specifically: OTC Medications )
Each kit is hand assembled and packed with care, in the USA...with all of the products purchased from US Suppliers. The soft plastic zippered cases are proudly manufactured right here in Pennsylvania! They are heavy duty double-lip "ziplock" style closures, complete with a wide mouth safety pin for installing this kit into any variey of clothing or gear. I keep one pinned inside my outermost jacket pocket...along with one in my truck's glove box, tackle box, and all of my small Emergency Survival Kits. This kit is based on the AMK designs....but with MORE versatile items in a SMALLER package.

(1) Soft Vinyl Plastic Case: The case is water resistant due to a double-lip "ziplock" type closure system. I have found it to be waterproof in heavy rains...and I've also submerged the kit into my kitchen sink full of water without any water infiltration. Heavy Duty. Made in USA.
(4) Large Fabric Band Aids: Much more durable than plastic...these aren't cheapies. Straight, finger wrap size
(2) Elbow/Knee Fabric Band Aids: Larger size to cover bigger problems
(4) Butterfly Wound Closure Strips: Great field method for wound closure
(1) WoundSeal (Powder) Packet: Just like Celox or QuikClot...but a much smaller packet...great for those pesky wounds that just won't stop bleeding while you are trying to work!
(4) Alcohol Prep Pads: Obvious...but they also make great fire starters....
(1) 18" Piece of Cloth Medical Tape: Wrapped flat on a small pallet
(1) 12" Piece of Hi-Viz Orange Duct Tape: Wrapped flat on a small pallet. Packed to the outside of the case with a label to easily identify the kit.
(1) Splinter-Out Lancelet: Great little tool that barely takes up any space...great for splinters, blisters, bites, stings, zits...etc...
(2) 1 1/2" Mini Glow Sticks, Green: Let's face it...tending a wound in the dark is NO fun. These little guys will offer up to 3 hours of soft green working light each. They also make great night-fishing bobbers...
(1) Blistex Lip Balm Packet: Perfect for cracked, burnt lips. Also can be worked into cotton balls for a great firestarter...
(1) Hydrocortisone Cream Packet: 1% Cream Hydrocortisone
(1) Oral Pain Relief Cream Packet: 20% Benzocaine Cream. Also works topically on the skin as a treatment for bites, cuts or other painful surface problems.
(2) Triple Anti-Biotic Ointment Packets: Absolutely needed for field first aid kits. Never leave home without this stuff...
(1) Advil PM OTC Medication Packet: Contains (2) tablets. 200 MG Ibuprofen with 25 MG Diphenhydramine each. Pain relief with an antihistamine that makes some folks sleepy.
(1) Advil OTC Medication Packet: Contains (2) tablets. 200 MG Ibuprofen each.
(1) Bayer Aspirin OTC Medication Packet: Contains (2) tablets. 325 MG each. For those that prefer Aspirin for their aches and pains. Also, 325 MG of Aspirin can greatly help a heart patient in stress.
(1) Benadryl OTC Medication Packet: Contains (2) tablets. 25 MG Diphenhydramine each. For allergic reactions, rash, itchy eyes, nighty-night....
(1) Imodium A-D OTC Medication Packet: Contains (2) tablets. 2 MG Loperamide HCI each. Anti-diarrheal. To plug the leak.
