This is a very rare Sansui G9000 receiver. It is in good overall condition. It puts out a massive 160 Watts power channel (not a typo, one hundred sixty). This is a true audiophile's dream. Everything works, however, the volume has an issue that will need to be addressed. Sound is great but,you have to play with the speaker connectors or volume control often. Might need a service/cleaning. This is a tough decision to sell, but I am downsizing.

I am the second owner of this unit (the first was a very close friend). I have owned it since the Early 90's. I have not had it serviced but he did about a year before I bought it from him. It is all original, no mods. The physical condition is 8 out of 10. The wood grain finish is in excellent condition. The face is near flawless (there is a scratch just left of the volume control shown in the pictures). There are some small blemishes/minor scratches in the top of the metal front caused by other components set on top. There is a half inch scratch on the top in the wood grain, other than that there are no overly obvious flaws cosmetically, you have to look close to find anything. The only "issue" is the volume. Every once in a while the volume seems to drop. A little movement in the volume control sometimes fixes the problem. I spoke with a repair shop over the phone & he suggested it just might need an internal cleaning at the speaker wire ports or the volume control but could need a repair. I am no expert & do not know much about that. I have used it on & off for years with this issue & was never too much of a problem for me however it has been getting more frequent lately.  There are times it will work flawlessly but at times its problematic. Right now it is acting up.  I have taken a YouTube video recently showing it in action (see link below).  I was hoping to show it with the sound issue but it was working perfectly at that time.  All other features, functions, & inputs are working fine.

I have done my best to describe.  My goal is to inform you of any issues so please feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks for your interest

Please allow a few extra days for shipping as this item is VERY heavy & will take me a while to prepare.  Receiver will be wrapped in a plastic bag & packed in styrofoam for protection.
