TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT: All auction items must be paid for within 48 hrs of auction end – payment on collection is fine, all collections are by appointment only. We accept cash, cards (chip and pin) or PayPal payments for collect only items. All other purchases will require immediate payment via Paypal.

SHIPPING: We despatch most items daily therefore you will receive your item promptly. Items such as TV’s and larger, heavy items are despatched within 3 to 5 working days.

COLLECTION: Collection is required within 4 working days. Collection times are weekdays and by appointment only, you cannot just turn up. We do not open at weekends. We are aware that our collection times may not be suitable for some people but we do have reasons for these hours. Please contact us by telephone or email if you have any queries regarding collection.

PICK UP ONLY: Some of our items are listed as pick up only this is because our couriers are unable to take such items due to weight or size or if the item is un-packaged/breakable. Please don’t ask how much it is to post items listed under this heading.

WARRANTY: We give 7 day’s warranty. Please notify us within 7 days if an item is faulty and you wish to return it. All Buy It Now purchases are covered by the distance selling regulations giving customers 14 days to cancel their purchase. Auction items are not covered by this but must be as described.
If an item is new or ex-display it will often be covered by manufacturers warranty particularly with respect to TV's and electrical ites. This will be highlighted in the listing.

NON-PAYMENT: An ebay non payment dispute will be opened within 4 days (unless you have contacted us and we have agreed alternative payment terms). This also includes items which are on collect only.

POSTAGE COSTS: Most of our items which are listed on buy it now have FREE postage, however it is not cost effective for some items and in those circumstances postage costs will apply, they will be clearly shown in the listing. Where postage costs do apply we believe them to be fair. The costs cover bubble wrap, black wrap, boxes, tape, bags, other packaging equipment and consumables along with the wages to pay
staff to deal with them. Our courier rates are all inclusive of VAT, fuel surcharge and packaging.

RETURN COSTS: We do not pay for return postage costs for return items being sent back to us however your return will be processed promptly once received and your refund issued once we are satisfied with the condition of the item. All items must be returned in their original box and packaging and in the exact same condition in which you received them.

MISSING ITEMS/FAULTY ITEMS: If an item is faulty or has missing parts we won’t order the parts in for you, send a replacement item or pay return costs. You either return the whole item at your cost or ask us what options there are. We can usually arive at an amicable solution for our Customers, but generally it will need to be returned. Small items such as remote controls, power leads, USB cables etc can usually be replaced without a problem.

EUROPE - OVER SEAS: All Our listings contain postage costs for UK mainland only. For shipping to remote areas of Scotland (KW, IV, AB, PA, PH, DD postcodes), Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands please contact us for a quotation. We do not ship overseas but some of our items are covered by the ebay Global Shipping Program which means that ebay will ship these on our behalf.
