With Antique Maltese Lace Bib Collar

 This gorgeous dress is a one of a kind handmade by Framm & Company of Santa Monica.  It has an exquisite antique Maltese lace bib over a cotton velvet dress.  Framm is known for her magical creations incorporating antique fabrics into exquisite custom-made garments. The velvet dress is a beautiful swirling pattern of purples and pinks with touches of green and white on a black background.  The overall effect is a rich, dark purple and absolutely stunning!  The darker velvet of this marvelous dress sets off the ivory antique lace panel wonderfully.   This dress was worn once to a wedding in 1984 then cleaned and stored carefully and lovingly since that time. There is no size label as the dress was bespoke so PLEASEJ go carefully by the measurements. It was made to fit a size 10 approximately. The waist of the dress sits a little above the natural waist. The original price was $298.

The measurements were taken with the garment laid flat.

The Maltese lace bib collar is fabulous.  The very minor condition issues are pointed out with a pencil in the photograph but are not easily apparent to the eye. This is a truly stunning dress, elegant, comfortable and perfect for the winter holidays. The purple paisley pattern is perfect!  You will love this one of a kind special dress!
