BRITAIN 2010-2011 set of four commemorative One Pound coins which were issued to commemorate the Capital Cities of the United Kingdom, namely: London, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff. The London and Belfast coins are dated 2010 on the obverse and the Edinburgh and Cardiff 2011. The reverse designs, by Stuart Devlin, show a depiction of the official Badges of each of the four capital cities and the obverse designs show the mature portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

The coins were struck in nickel-brass by the Royal Mint and each is 22.5mm in diameter. All of these coins have been taken from the Royal Mint souvenir specimen sets which are struck to a much higher quality than normal coins issued for circulation (i.e. in choice brilliant uncirculated condition).

The coins are housed within a display that is held in a protection case, sized just over 17cm x 12cm. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Choice BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.

This would make a wonderful gift for a coin collector.

The product can be removed from the protection case, to allow frame mounted display, if so desired.
