This highly unusual necklace has been made by hand, using real pieces of shell with it's mother of pearl sheen which have been cut into three pieces. The lightweight shell is attached securely to the necklace by means of three strands of turquoise stone beads.

The lower shell is about 4.5cm across and the smaller round discs about 3.5cm in diameter. The total length of the necklace is about 52cm (16").

It is easily fastened by the secure 'button and loop' style closure.
