Mele Ukulele's line of affordable ukuleles (the Hula Ukes line), has really taken off since its initial launch in 2005.  After several years of designing and prototyping new Hula Ukes  mondels to compliment the Mele Ukulele handmade instruments (see more at meleukulele.com), we are very happy and proud to finally introduce our latest additions to the Hula Ukes ohana.

As always, you can rest assured that our chief  luthier, Mike Rock, and his team at our production shop in Waiehu, Maui, Hawaii, continue to work very hard to bring each one of the Hula Ukes we sell up to his standards of excellence. This involves a professional setup, stringing, intonation and fret job, for which you'd normally pay another hundred bucks. That's a big part of why the Hula Ukes are so popular, we suspect; most lower-priced imported ukes come to you right off the assembly line and are never properly set up by a luthier.
