Brand new matched set of alloy timing gear & steel crankshaft gear for the Essex 3.0L V6 Ford engine. This alloy/steel combination is much quieter than the alternative steel/steel version & being lightweight also gives the front cam bearings an easier life. A worthwhile upgrade to the original fibre or nylon toothed timing gears, a well known weak point even on a standard engine, which can strip their teeth resulting in the valves & pistons clashing & an expensive engine rebuild.
