1972 Triumph TR6 Turbo Charged

72,000 miles

First introduced in 1969 the Triumph TR6 replaced the TR5. The updated body design by the German company Karmann gave it a new look while keeping most of the components of the TR5. Production ended in 1976 with over 94,500 cars sold and replaced by the less popular TR7. The TR6 turned out to be Triumph's best selling car.

This is an early model without the gigantic bumper guards fitted in later years. While the body has been repainted the interior seems to be in original condition. There are some minor signs of wear and tear and the dash top has a couple of cracks. Soft top is new.

The turbo charger was already installed when I purchased the car. I do not know when it was added but it looks like it has been there for some time. The conversion was definitely done in a professional manner.

The original hard top with its storage crate comes with the car.
