Low-budget Italian horror directed by Mario Bava. The inhabitants of a modern day Carpathian village are terrified for their lives as a series of ghastly murders rock the village. The killer demon is the vengeful ghost of Baroness Graps (Gianna Vivaldi)'s murdered daughter, Melissa (Valerio Valeri), who wants to collect all the souls of the hapless villagers.
