Paranoia XP Miniature Bots - Before Microsoft Cease and Desist

Many years after Citadel produced a range of miniatures for the Sci-fi Roleplaying game Paranoia, the license was worked on by West End Games.   When West End Games went bankrupt holding the rights to produce Paranoia, the designers granted a license to Mongoose Publishing.    As part of this re-release the game was initially branded Paranoia XP with arguable references to the Microsoft Windows logo and the operating system “Windows XP”.   

This title did not last long, as Microsoft lawyers got in touch and had the logo and “XP” removed from any future branding and titles.    

However, as this was happening a boxset of bots had been designed to compliment the publications and service pack editions for Paranoia XP.  Delays with miniature production and the subsequent rebranding meant that this particular design of boxset were only released for a very short period of time in limited numbers to early subscribed members.   

There are six different bots included, namely :  Combot, Docbot, Jackobot, Petbot, Scrubot and Warbot (scale: 28 - 30mm)
