The first pic is from a brochure I have on this particular unit that lists all of the features of the Kenwood KRC-878.  Other pics are of the actual item for sale.  This unit I have for sale was purchased by me, as a display unit back in 1991.  It was the first high end car stereo piece I ever bought, therefore holds a special place in my heart. There are many, many vintage Kenwood cassette receivers out there, but based on my research, and searches I have done over the years, this is one of the rarest vintage top of the line models.  I have done searches for over 15 years, and found only one other unit like this ( realizing how rare this model is, I bought it ).  This is the 1991 top of the line Kenwood cassette receiver.  Don't even try to find another, it is near impossible.  For example, at any time you can search Ebay and find 3 or more KRC 999 but this is the only KRC 878 you will ever see.  The unit I have for sale has the cage, and wiring harness.  The cassette is a little slow to eject, and needs a little attention.  This is a top of the line preamp model, meaning it used no space for any type of amplification.  Must use with separate outboard amplifiers.  Was serviced not too long ago, will include receipt.
