1980's Yamaha SB1200S Super Bass

 

Description:

Yamaha's SB1200B was their highest end bass at the time and was only released in the Japanese market. It's a maple neck the whole way through and mahogany sides for an incredible looking bass. Apparently has an ivory nut too.. These were seriously well made instruments!

Condition: 

Cosmetic: 

Plenty of use, there are cracks in the finish but as far as i can tell it's got zero wood cracking. I'll repeat that, the cracks seem to be only in the finish and the wood is perfectly uncracked. Tuners have been replaced.

Neck/Frets:

Neck is nice and the frets are in good condition and play well. 

Electronics: 

Electronics work well. 

Accessories: 

Hard case.
