This is a lovely antique Victorian silver and Montrose Agate bracelet dating from c 1890 and made in Scotland.
There are no hallmarks as is common with Scottish Victorian jewellery.
The back of the bracelet is plain.
The front is made up of bright- cut engraved silver and triangles of agate.
I have taken close up photos of these triangles for condition report. I think one or two may have been replaced. Possibly not with Montrose agate, but as you can see from the photos they all match well together.
The catch on the bracelet is secure and opens and closes easily.
Internal circumference closed is approx. 6 ¼ inches.
This is a very attractive bracelet, ready to wear or to add to a collection of Scottish jewellery.
