THIS is an original, official poster measuring approximately
24" x 17" (60 x 42cm) that was printed for 4AD in 1996
to promote northern Irish band Scheer's Wish You Were Dead EP. Scheer were
one of the least successful of 4AD's acts in the 1990s, which presumably makes
this poster one of the rarer ones.
It
is one of THREE original SCHEER promotional display items in this month's
listings, along with many more original promo posters designed by Vaughan
Oliver / 23 Envelope for other 4AD artists.

PROVENANCE: All my posters were sourced from
record shops or direct from record labels & record distributors in the
1980s & 1990s. They were each from a one-off print run for the
record label and were never on sale to the public. The photograph is
of the actual item. All the items I list will be on a similar coloured
background so that you know they are my own photos.
PACKAGING: Your poster will be lightly rolled then
wrapped in a sheet of brown paper with twists at both ends for easy and safe
removal from the professionally made-for-purpose mailing tube.
POSTAGE:
The postage & packing charge for this item is
the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and the 13.5% cut
taken by eBay & Paypal on the p&p charge (yes, they really do that!).
If your postage &
packing fee doesn’t cover the cost of the postal service appropriate to the
value of your order I will pay for a FREE UPGRADE so that your order is always
fully insured.
Orders up to £20: Royal Mail Second Class (UK) or Royal Mail International Standard
(rest of the world). A certificate of posting will be retained.
UK orders over £20 and up to £50: Royal Mail Second Class Signed For (fully
insured).
UK orders over £50: Royal Mail Special Delivery (next day delivery,
tracked, signed, and fully insured).
Non UK orders over £20: Royal Mail International Tracked &/or Signed

flyers & stickers that you win/buy within a seven day period. Items
that need to be sent flat (e.g. postcards) can’t be combined with items that
are sent rolled.

items BEFORE making any payment.
3) Each individual item listed carries
a p&p charge appropriate to its size and value. Only the highest of these
charges will apply to your order. All other qualifying items will be FREE
POSTAGE & PACKING.

INDIEPOSTERS’ OWN CONDITION GUIDE:
Unless otherwise noted, all of the
posters I list have never been displayed or mounted, other than for a few
seconds to take the photograph.
They have been stored since new either flat
or rolled, away from sunlight.
Like New - flawless, or some minor signs of handling at most.
All corners and edges are sharp. May be factory folded if mentioned as such in
the description.
Very Good - some slight bending and/or rippling, which is
likely not to be visible if poster is flattened and framed behind glass or
clear plastic. Corners and edges are still sharp. No tears, or
pin/staple holes, sellotape, blue tack, fading or creasing.
Good - may have creasing and/or more substantial bending
and/or rippling, and/or very small tears and/or small pin/staple holes and/or
fading. Corners and edges may not be sharp. Possibly other minor defects as
noted, but still in nice overall condition for a vintage item.
Acceptable - other, more substantial defects as described.
