Pocket Watch Movement cal.662 c1920's


This elegant wrist watch was converted from vintage pocket watch.
Antique wrist watch movement from ROLEX  produced circa 1920s (The company  "Rolex" was founded in 1905. Hans Wilsdorf registered the trademark name "Rolex" in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland during 1908.) in a New Hand-Engraved & Gilding Art Stainless Steel case. Gently curved elements  are produced with chip removal techniques using sharp burins that not only incise the stainless steel but actually "lift" the decorations out of the stainless steel.
This project has given a new life for this vintage watch.
It’s an ideal combination of vintage and modern styles.

DIAL: ORIGINAL PORCELAIN ENAMEL DIAL, ROMAN NUMERALS,  SUBSIDIARY SECOND.
HANDS: Vintage gold-plated HANDS.

MOVEMENT: Original antique high-grade ROLEX LEVER SWISS-MADE, nickel finish, 15 jewels, uncut bimetallic balance with overcoil hairspring, made in circa 1920s.
- These movements are signed: ROLEX, SWISS MADE, 15 FIFTEEN JEVELS, TIMED 3 POSITIONS FOR ALL CLIMATES, 662.
- in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch.
Movement has been recently serviced. Movement works fine and keeps good time.

CASE: Large Size Hand-Engraved Art Stainless steel Case, snap back with original mineral glass and is in excellent condition.
